What mattered

Challenge

Xpreso set out to transform last-mile delivery by giving consumers real-time visibility and control over package drop-offs — a vision ahead of its time. As the platform gained traction with major retailers and logistics providers, Xpreso needed to accelerate product development while maintaining system resilience and UX quality. With an ambitious roadmap and growing customer expectations, the in-house team required external engineering support that could integrate seamlessly, contribute at speed, and help scale the solution from startup prototype to enterprise-grade product.

Solution

Threadable embedded a team of senior engineers within Xpreso’s fast-paced development environment, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product owners, designers, and internal devs to deliver critical system components. Key focus areas included real-time event handling for package tracking, customer communication tools (like live ETA updates and rescheduling options), and API integrations with logistics partners. Threadable developers worked across the stack, contributing to both the back-end services and the mobile-ready user interface. The agile partnership enabled rapid sprint cycles and continuous delivery, with Threadable bringing technical leadership and delivery discipline to high-pressure release timelines.

Results

• Faster delivery of product milestones in line with partner integration deadlines • Robust, scalable platform enhancements to support high concurrency • Improved UX through real-time delivery visibility and rescheduling options • Successful pilot deployments with major e-commerce and logistics brands • Trusted engineering partnership that allowed Xpreso to focus on growth and customer onboarding
