1. Accessibility Audit of the Evaluation Journey
Threadable conducted a detailed WCAG 2.2 audit of Mobility Mojo’s “Evaluation Journey” across mobile and desktop platforms. The assessment identified potential accessibility barriers in readability, navigation, and assistive technology compatibility.

Deliverables:

• Compliance Report: A Word document detailing accessibility issues and actionable recommendations.
• InVision Whiteboard Map: A visual representation of the evaluation journey with annotated screenshots.
• Summary & Next Steps: A roadmap for implementation.

Threadable’s Software Factory methodology ensured an agile, collaborative process, while AWS infrastructure provided secure data handling and scalability.

2. Development of an Accessible HTML Popup
Threadable also developed a lightweight HTML popup to showcase the accessibility of client environments, such as offices and facilities. The goal was to enhance user experience and compliance with WCAG AA standards.

Design & Discovery

• A UX design and discovery phase included workshops and prototype testing to ensure an intuitive and visually appealing design.
• One iteration of the design was costed to maintain efficiency.

Development

• The popup was built using React and Gatsby, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Accessibility features were prioritised, ensuring seamless navigation for users with disabilities.

Testing & Deployment

• ‍‍Comprehensive functionality, compatibility, and accessibility testing was conducted.
• Three deployment options were implemented:
  • Hosting the popup code on a client’s site.
  • Providing a zipped HTML package for direct embedding.
  • Enabling direct linking to the popup in a browser window.
